Cleveland students will get free breakfast and lunch in the 25-26 School Year
May 16, 2025: We are excited to share that our students will receive one free reimbursable breakfast and one free reimbursable lunch each school day, regardless of their individual eligibility. Students get one free breakfast and lunch that meet program rules. To qualify, they must pick at least three of five items: grain, protein, fruit, vegetable, and milk. Additional items like extra milk, snacks, or second entrees are not included and will be charged at à la carte prices.
Although meals are free for all students, submitting a free and reduced-price meal application helps our school maintain funding for critical programs. We encourage families to complete one online. If you need a paper copy, please contact the main office.Questions? Contact Culinary Services.

Student Meals at School
Breakfast and lunch will be served at no cost to those students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Additionally, Seattle Public Schools has several schools that will offer free meals (breakfast and lunch) for all students. See a list of schools that will offer free meals for all students.
SPS has a new way to view menus, pay for meals, and fill out the free and reduced lunch application.

Free Meals for Students
Your child may qualify for free or reduced-price meals. In all Seattle schools, students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals receive meals at no cost.
You must reapply every year. Qualification is based on household income.
Students who qualify receive additional benefits including reduced fees for the following programs.
- Event Fees
- Field Trips
- Advanced Placement Tests
- Running Start Books
- Associated Student Body (ASB) Fees
- Pre-College Exams (PSAT/SAT/ACT)
- College Application Fees
