World Language Credit Testing
World Language Credit Testing at Cleveland
The World Language Credit exams are just one way to honor the diverse heritages and languages of the students in Seattle Public schools. It also provides students an opportunity to earn credit and recognition for their linguistic achievement, whether they are a heritage-speaker or have studied a language to the point of fluency, semi or otherwise.
Cleveland High School has many multilingual families in our community and being multilingual is a strength! Language Credit testing is one way to honor your student’s multilingual skills and earn graduation credits. While credits are not guaranteed, students do have the potential to earn 1-4 Language Credits toward their graduation requirement. Even conversational language can be enough to earn just one Language credit, so please sign up if you speak a language other than English!
