I’d like to share about some critical work that I’d like to invite you to participate in: we are in the process of developing our new Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP), which will guide our goals, priorities, and strategies over the next handful of years. This is a very important document. All schools are required to have a public CSIP, and it is used to guide our most critical decisions, including budget and resource allocation, course offerings, professional development plans, student support strategies, community partnerships, and launching schoolwide initiatives.

In other words, if it’s in the CSIP, then we are accountable for doing it. As we build this plan, we want to hear directly from our families so that the work we do is aligned with your interests.

The survey asks for your feedback on important areas including:

• Student learning and academic support
• School culture, belonging, and student well-being
• Family engagement and communication
• College, career, and postsecondary readiness
• Safety and the overall school environment
• Equity and access to opportunities for all students
• Strengths we should continue building on and areas where we can improve

Complete CSIP Survey. I look forward to reading your responses and will identify major trends and themes in the responses to include in our CSIP. The first draft of the CSIP is due October 7.
