    All Seattle Public School School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs) are up and running!

    You can expect a call/e-mail back as soon as they are able to support you.
    Our SBHC has a: Mental Health Provider, Medical Provider and a Clinic Coordinator.
    Most, if not all services are free and many can be confidential, if necessary.
    The services that we provide are:

    Wellness exams/sports physicals
    Health screenings
    Manage chronic medical conditions
    Referral for lab services
    Prescription of medication
    Reproductive health*/referrals
    Mental health
    Substance Abuse
    Health Education
    *in some schools


    Cleveland School Based Health Center is OPEN during school closure in 2020/2021.

    • We will be providing virtual care appointments, as well as some in person medical services by appointment only on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
    • What we offer: preventative health services (annual check-ups, sport physicals, immunizations, chronic disease management, healthy lifestyle counseling), confidential teen health services: reproductive, sexual, and mental health counseling and treatment.
    • We can also see any Seattle Public Schools (SPS) K-12 school students for immunizations and other services (if they do not have access to their School Based Health Center). Parents may call our clinic to find out how to register.

    Our School-Based Health Center (SBHC) is a FREE service for students to get medical health care and is operated by King County Health Department and Kaiser Permanente, with funding support from the City of Seattle’s Families and Education Levy. For routine care, students need to complete a registration paperwork with their parent/guardian’s signature. The Health Center is staffed full time by a Nurse Practitioner, a Mental Health Counselor, and a Health Program Assistant. Please note that a parent/guardian signature is not needed for confidential care.

    When is the clinic open, and how do I make an appointment?

    Any student enrolled at Cleveland can be seen by our providers by having a parent or guardian complete and sign the registration forms and returned to the SBHC.
