    Information for Seniors
    Posted on //
Class of 2018The last day of school for seniors is scheduled to be Monday, June 18. Seniors are expected to attend all classes on their schedule that day. Students must have all teachers sign off on their final grade, and all fines must be paid before any counselor will clear them for graduation. Students may not interrupt classes to get signatures from teachers.

Here are the details for graduation check-out procedures:
Seniors will receive their check out forms in their Humanities classes this week.
On Monday, teachers will write the final grade for each student and sign, including Advisory.
Seniors must attend all classes on Monday which is an A Day.
If you are a B Day teacher, seniors may come to get their final grade before school or during lunch on June 18.
Seniors will then get signatures from Megan Claus for state testing, Lee Micklin for library fees, Patrick Yolian for laptop fees, and Dreena Clark for any outstanding balances on their account. Payments must be CASH, CARD or MONEY ORDERS ONLY. No checks will be accepted.
Final transcripts will be available July 3rd. Please note that if you have outstanding fines, your final official transcript and diploma will not be released.

Once all teacher and staff signatures are documented correctly on the check-out form, seniors may come to the counseling center.
Napsiyah Sallee will meet with SoED and Avery Manning will meet with SoLS.
Together, the counselors will check to make sure every senior meets all graduation requirements for the state of Washington and Seattle Public Schools before signing off on their form and giving seniors their confirmation of eligibility to walk at graduation on Wednesday, June 20.
School Counselors cannot check a student out for graduation before June 18. If any senior cannot be at school that day, let the counselors know.

    Pomp & Circumstance
Graduation rehearsal will take place on Wednesday, June 20, at 10 a.m. at Memorial Stadium. No buses will be provided so seniors must have their own transportation.
The graduation ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. and seniors are responsible for getting themselves to the stadium by 4:00 p.m. Seniors should be in their caps and gowns as they enter the stadium.
A class photo will be taken at 4:45 p.m. on the stadium bleachers before seniors line up for commencement.
